This town is an ancient village situated on a hill overlooking the valley of Taro, surrounded by chestnuts. In the town center, of medieval style, it is located castle, which was once owned by Count Landi. This building has remained intact over the centuries. It houses the Museum of Freemasonry, with many historical reports of the Association. In Compiano there’ alsto the famous Orsanti Museum.
