Placed between the river Taro and the western hills of the Parma area. In Medesano there are craft areas, sports facilities and a spa complex (S. Andrea Bagni) with mineral water bottling plant, a nursing home in the close village of Ramiola. It has a Band and a dialect theater company. On July and august it takes place the itinerant food fair called Savoring.
