Pietro Cella Alpine Troops Museum in Bardi
The Pietro Cella Alpine Troops Museum in Bardi is dedicated to the history and memory of the Alpini, Italy’s famous mountain troops, and to their strong connection with the communities of the Apennines.
The museum preserves objects, documents, photographs and historical memorabilia that help visitors discover the experiences of the soldiers and the traditions associated with the Alpini. It is also a place of remembrance, keeping alive the stories of people whose lives were marked by military service and the major events of Italian history.
Named after Pietro Cella, the museum adds an interesting historical stop to a visit to Bardi. Together with the castle, churches and other local museums, it offers visitors another perspective on the heritage and identity of this part of the Val Ceno.
