Metti Mill – Bore

In 1559, the area of Metti was home to two mills: one belonging to the cleric Bartolomeo Ferrari and the lower mill owned by the Raffi family, located along the Cenedola stream. By 1576, historical records indicate that the Ferrari mill was no longer in use.

The building has a square plan, with traditional stone walls, and is arranged over two floors. The upper floor was used as living quarters, as shown by the presence of a fireplace, while the ground floor housed the milling activities.

Inside, visitors can still see some of the original wooden mechanisms, valuable evidence of the ancient milling traditions of the Bore area.
