Valtarese Basketball: A Historic Sporting Tradition in Borgotaro

Valtarese Basket is one of the most important sporting organisations in Borgo Val di Taro, with a long tradition that has made basketball an important part of local life.

The club promotes basketball for different ages and levels, with men’s and women’s teams, youth teams and minibasket activities. Over the decades, Valtarese Basketball has achieved important results, particularly in women’s basketball, while continuing to focus strongly on developing young local players.

Home games and many of the club’s activities take place at the PalaRaschi, the sports hall dedicated to Bruno Raschi, the famous sports journalist born in Borgotaro.
