Located in San Quirico, in the municipality of Sissa Trecasali, Villa La Baronessa, also known as Villa Bacchini, is an elegant historic residence surrounded by the peaceful countryside of the Bassa Parmense.
The original building dates back to the 17th century, while later extensions added two side wings, small towers and architectural decorations that give the villa its distinctive appearance.
Over the centuries, the residence belonged to several noble families, including the Rossi of San Secondo and the Caranza family. Its popular name, La Baronessa, recalls a baroness who lived there during the 19th century.
One of its most interesting features is the private Oratory of San Nicola da Tolentino, built in 1712 and decorated with historic frescoes.
Carefully restored by the Bacchini family, the villa preserves an important example of aristocratic country life in the Parma region.
