Tenute Venturini Foschi: Organic Wines on the Hills of Medesano
Tenute Venturini Foschi is a winery set among the hills between Medesano and Noceto, in the province of Parma, where vineyards, history and the rural landscape come together.
Founded in 2016, the project combines wine production with a strong commitment to the territory, organic farming, culture and hospitality.
Vineyards on the Parma Hills
The vineyards grow in a picturesque area close to the Via Francigena, surrounded by the gentle landscape of the Parma hills.
One of the estate's most distinctive historical features is the Torre del Vecchio Germino, a fifteenth-century building that adds a fascinating cultural element to the property.
Organic Viticulture
Tenute Venturini Foschi follows the principles of organic farming, seeking a balanced relationship between vines, soil and the surrounding environment.
The vineyards include local varieties as well as international grapes.
Particular importance is given to Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, one of the most representative grape varieties of the Parma hills, alongside Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and other red varieties.
Malvasia di Candia Aromatica
Malvasia plays a central role in the identity of the winery.
This aromatic grape has a long history in the Parma hills and produces wines appreciated for their fragrance, freshness and distinctive personality.
The winery explores different expressions of the variety, showing how vineyard conditions and winemaking choices can reveal different sides of the same grape.
The Wines
The estate produces white, red and rosé wines as well as sparkling wines and special selections.
Its labels include Gemma, Gemma Gentile, Fonio, Emy, Eos, Sophia, Velo, Due Mondi, Cà Fontani and Jackie.
Together they create a varied collection designed to express both the character of the vineyards and the contemporary vision of the winery.
Wine, Art and Culture
Tenute Venturini Foschi is more than a wine-producing estate.
The project brings together wine, art, culture and hospitality, encouraging visitors to experience the landscape and discover another side of Parma's Food Valley.
Its position near the Via Francigena and the historical character of the estate make it particularly interesting for wine tourism.
