The interior, with frescoes by Evangelista Draghi (c. 1670-80), Ilario Spolverini (in. 1700), Pietro Rubini (c. 1746) and stucco ornaments by Carlo Bossi (mid-18th century) houses the Giuseppe Verdi National Museum.
The 27 operas by the “Swan of Busseto” are represented by original sets from Casa Ricordi and reconstructions of 19th-century settings. Underneath Giuseppe Verdi's immortal music, an evocative itinerary by set designer and director Pier Luigi Pizzi is traced.
